I need some basic things translated for health pourposes.

Foot.
Arm.
Shoulder.
Back.
Spine.
Toes
Acne.
Sweat.

and also, i have another quick question... once and for all. i have asked difrent people this and got difrent answers, and even difrent websites have said diffrent things... is FOR dative, or genative ??? in other words, which is correct
1. Мне нужно ваксцина гриппа ?
или
2. Мне нужно ваксцина гриппу ?

i am almost positive it is genative, "i need a vaccine for the flu". but still i have to make sure.

Foot. Noga
Arm. Ruka

Мне нужно лекарство (вакцина, средство)от гриппа.

Shoulder. Плечо.
Back. Спина. (if it is not buttocks, of course, in which case this is зад, задница )
Spine. Позвоночник.
Toes. Пальцы ног.
Acne. Прыщи.
Sweat. Пот.

Btw, Dogboy, get a dictionary.

Yeah, so you can learn how to spell the word "Different" :P

Yes. if you go to doctor's office and you say "У меня нога болеет" you need to point at which one.

you can use online translator www.translate.ru for individual words. though I would not recommend using it for whole sentences. The result is Ger's messages i think he uses that translator

LOL, that's craзy!!! so like... do they have names for the elbo, or wrist ??

actually, it seems they do. my dictionary says Локоть for elbow and Запястье for wrist. Suit yourself, russians

Russians do have words for hand (kist') and foot (stopa), but they aren't used very often...

Correct.

Shoulder + arm (elbow) + hand (palm) <=>
Плечо + предплечье (локоть) + кисть (ладонь). Altogether - рука (upper limb).

((thigh + shin) = leg) + foot <=>
(бедро + голень + стопа) = нога

wow, did u major in math as well as russian ? that seems like quite a neat-0 formula. Grade A work !

Thanks! You guess right, my specialisation is flight dynamics, which is really a lot of math
