ive just finished translating a commercial concept and wanted to check some terminology, thought id get MRs take on it :)

first is промежуточных результатов in the following - обсуждений промежуточных результатов работы над проектом с Заказчиком

i thought partial results, maybe intermediate results

fairly sure, but возводимой парковкой would be like multi-storey parking right?

водохранилище -
for this one, there are so many options im not really sure what it is, obviously dam would not fit.
на новом месте после затопления его старой части Куйбышевским водохранилищем

Концептуальное позиционирование - conceptual positioning seems to mean nothing, is позиционирование more like marketing?

запираемыми боксами для тележек, so i gather this is some sort of thing for shopping carts, but cant quite get my head round it, are they ones where you have to put money in to release them and then get your coin back when you have finished shopping?

and finally дорога-дублер, i was thinking backup road, but maybe something like alternate road would be better?

Nope, it is a parking (or garage) that is being constructed now.

Концептуальное позиционирование is a Russian translation of English "conceptual positioning". Positioning is not the same as marketing, it is a part of marketing.

"Запираемые боксы" means "locked (lockable) rooms/spaces". It simply means that they can be locked, and are not left open. "Тележки" may mean shopping carts or any other type of handcarts, depending on the context.

"Дорога-дублер" may mean either.

Yes, basically "водохранилище" is a huge artificial millpond. :)
Куйбышевское водохранилище is one of the largest (length - more than 500 km, max width - 45 km, max depth - 40-45 m). It's also very stormy. Sometimes waves are as high as 3 metres.

у нас подобную штуку не иначе как море называют (Обское море). Ну оно тоже немаленькое правда, противоположенного берега не видно.

Another meaning is newly constructed highway apart from existing, not laying near and parallel.

i decided on auxiliary road :thumbup:

It is not a flat space on the ground, is it? Otherwise why the воз-?
