    Yo translate this for me.

Купальники из Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball в продаже!

My brother wouldn't stop bugging me till I did. They had to put those girls in bikini pictures in there didn't they.

By the way can anybody give me a short explanation on what the в is used for? I keep seeing them. If not that's ok.

в, oh that makes a V, sound ь on the other hand is supposed to make the consonant before it softer, like мальчик, really sounds alot like "Maichik" or терерь... the R is pretty hard to get. but anyways. don't worry about them, that's the first thing you newb's do is freak out about the soft signs. it's just that they are at the end of about 95 percent of the verbs. so you know where to add the right ending. and they come after a few nouns, like кровь and, stuff. but thats basically. it.

"в" is just "in" or "on" here. The same as in English.

"Swimsuits are on sale". There is such tradition of omission verbs in Russian. Full sentense would sound as "Купальники из "Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball" находятся в продаже!" Word "находятся" here plays role of the word "are". But for doing the sentense less long it is skipped which is quite frequent thing in Russian.
For example, question "Ты куда идёшь?" (Where are you going to?) often is pronounced like "Ты куда?" (Where are you to?)

...I guess that must've been a joke I'm not getting. Illinois is full of bodies of water. Hundreds of smaller lakes than the Michigan. Ever hear of the Mississippi River? Des Plaines?

    Santa's Village in Dundee?
