I have a friend of Russian decent who wants the quote: "ЛОБИТЕ РОДИНУ!" tatooed on his arm.
Would this mae any sense at all???

It's an imperative:

Love your motherland!

yeah, except that it's spelled wrong and he might want to consult a dictionary so as to avoid having such a gaff on his arm for the rest of his life.

I didn't even notice that it was ЛОБИТЕ instead of ЛЮБИТЕ
