Some doubts...

What would be the best translation for these two following sentences?:

"I didn't know she was going to do such thing. I was going to call the cops until I saw you"

"I will have been living here for 2 years tomorrow..."

In the first sentence, I know the verb собираться can be used, ex.: "я не знал что ты собиралась идти в магазин" - "I didn't know you were going to the store". But "Я не знал что она собиралась делать..." in this context, simply doesn't sound right in my opinion, or maybe it's actually right?

But... why "она собирается сделать" instead of "она собиралась сделать", if it's in past form?

Because tenses in Russian don't have to be agreed like in English. For us, "она собирается" is the present tense with respect to the moment when you didn't know what she was going to do.
But you can use the both variants, they both would be right.
