Please look over the translation of this aphorism for me.

    Большее цель, легкее направление.
The bigger the target, the easier the aim. It means, of course, that sometimes a big task is easier to achieve than a small one, because a simple thing often requires perfect accuracy, whereas a complex job may call for more endurance, but less exactitude. If you want an example, just refer back to the aphorism. A friend and I came up with it earlier today.
    Девушка - лoвушка.

Пожалуйста, кто-то скажи мне, есть ли ошибки где-то.

The comparatives are больше and легче.

?? чем больше цель, тем легче направление? Чем лучше вид, тем легче цель?

In case anyone doesn't understand, the best illustration I can think of is tying your shoelaces. It's a simple task, but it gives children (boys) a fair bit of trouble to learn because you either do it the right way or not at all ( actually there are two ways, but never mind). On the other hand something like learning the piano requires more application but a lot less accuracy because as a professional once told me, there really are no rules to it.

I quite agree with the translation suggested by Wanja. He's managed to grasp the idea perfectly.

I think you can use the following situatuion to illustrate this quotation: It's much easier to shoot a moose or a stag than a pole cat or a field mouse because the former are huge animals and the latter are tiny.

So both the initial statement and its illustration are metaphorical and thus easy to understand.
