Thread: Translation help

Could anybody help me to translate "белопольного слона " in English? I know the word слон = bishop in chess but can't find "белопольного". Thanks in advance.

In chess each of two players has two bishops. One bishop can move only by white squares (белые поля) of the board while another only by black squares (черные поля). So the adjective "белопольный" is a word derived for the bishop which can move only by white squares.
