I'm afraid that is unrecognizable. Can you upload a photo?
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

    Re: partial inscription on pin/brooch

Sorry, unable to upload photo. I'm currently using library internet. The description of the pin is that of, I believe, St George upon a white horse slaying a dragon with the head of a bird. The picture looks as if it may have been laquered on, however it looks to be old. Any ideas?

In traditional Russian icon paining, the scene in which St. George kills the dragon is traditionally called "ЧУДО ГЕОРГИЯ О ЗМИЕ".
    But a photo would help.

Thanks for your input, but what does that mean translated in English? I will work on getting a photo posted. How do I go about finding it's origin and value?

It roughly means "The miracle of George and the Dragon". As to your brooch's value and origin, I have no clue, sorry.

It must be a lacquer brooch - Мстера is a small town where these things are made. It is a town like Palekh Палех, which also does lacquer crafts but is more famous.
