Ok obviously outside in its literal meaning in russian is na ulitsa, as in i was playing outside. Or in the locative sense, using za. But if you want to use it figuratively, how can you translate outside of/other than in this case. For example, how would you say: Other than math, he wasn't really skilled at anything else. I guess you could say excluding, but that sounds just really bad. Or say instead of, but that wouldnt sound great either. Just wondering what is a good translation for outside of/other.
