    One-word translation again

    Can someone help please?!

Is there a one word translation of the word "devil"?
    What about "the devil himself."

    In the masculine.

Is such a word or phrase used in Russian?

Also, is there a short phrase Russians use to refer to someone who is extremely evil, "the devil himself."

    Devil-бес, дьявол, черт
Придёт весна и мы раскроем окна..
    Айда на встречу друг другу!
    Придёт весна и яркое солнце
    Растопит лёд старых обид глупых.

    Flowforever,

Thank you! Is there a way you could provide a pronunciation (in English).

What do the words mean, word for word?

бес (like the word "yes" with a "b" in front of it) is more like demon, from my understanding
дьявол (close to english; something like diyaval) is "devil"
черт (chyort) is deuce, but used as a substitute for devil, since he is so vile that people don't want to say his name
Заранее благодарю всех за исправление ошибок в моём русском.

    Barmaley,

    Thanks so much!

Would russians ever use a term such as "the devil himself" to refer to someone they thought was evil and vile.

Is there a phrase in Russian for this?

Depends on context. But generally it's translated literally:

    сам чёрт (более разговорное)
    сам дъявол (более книжное)

    sam chert
    sam d'yavol
