Thread: враздробь

Does anybody know what does this word mean: враздробь.
It is a line from “Вишневый сад” by А. П. Чехов.
Фирс , the servant says in the second act :
“а теперь все враздробь, не поймешь ничего. ”
" and now all is ---------, nothing is understandable"

" and everything is confusing?"

I suppose, everything is incomprehensible (or nothing is comprehensible) for Firs.

It's not "все" (everybody) here, it's "всё" (everything). As you probably know, the "ё" often is written as "е" in Russian.
So, yes, the sentence means "everything is confusing". I'd say it more or less literally means "everything stands separately from each other", and at the same time "everything got mixed", not like it was before.
