Name equivalent in Russian
How would one say "of the vultures" within the context of a name, "Sonya of the vultures" as a full version?
I got as far as understanding Sonya as (Cоня) and Vulture (Гриф), but I'm not sure exactly how the name would change to include the "of the" possession, "the" would be dropped obviously but anything else is beyond my knowledge including whether a direct translation is even possible.
Griff sounds as if the word came from the English "Griffon".
