Помогите, пожалуйста! Это фрагмент из интервью пром.дизайнера Луиджи Колани. Я не понимаю смысла выделенных предложение (про иглу Microsoft и форму куба с 3-D). Может быть, есть какие-то мысли? Заранее спасибо

All the cars look alike, because the eye of the Microsoft needle is too narrowly set for all these twits. Therefore a new thinking process first has to be initiated again. I will try to explain: a computer is ruled by a chip, that is a single dimensional tiny smooth area with some prints on it. If this chip would begin to grow into something cube-shaped, that is so to say 3-dimensional - then its potential could gradually begin to compete with the human brain. Before that happens there is no computer that could even in the faintest challenge me.

I have to see the entire article because it's unclear if he's talking about cars and making analogies to computers or just talking about random stuff.

Basically he means Microsoft is all super-conformist or whatever(since it's the cool thing to bash MS) and the carmakers are doing something similar.

I guess he thinks that if computer chips were stacked on top of one another or something they would become stronger.
