There's a reference to the beginning of the sentence, but I had to read it twice before I got it. This sentence is a perfect example of канцелярит, or bad bureaucratic style of writing. Truly horrendous! :)

I think, they tried to say, that despite the fact that investors tend to ignore stock market, it still gives a good assessment of the real estate companies' success.

"Производную от нее" and "фондовый рынок" refer to different parts of the sentence.
