Mamayev Mound, may be?
Mamay (Мамай) is a Tatar khan, one of the leader of the Tatar yoke in Russia.
kurgan=burial mound, barrow
The adjective derived from мамай is мамаев. Just like Сергей=сергеев. If it's masculine, that is. If it's feminine, then the suffix is -ин-, as in сукин сын.
(just testing to see whether that makes it thru the filters!)
:o wow. impressive
Yea, when I finally go to Russia, that's stop #3.
