I see two possibilities here:
Это предложение/фраза/песня звучит неуклюже, неестественно, странно (awkward=unnatural, heavy)
or
Это предложение/фраза/песня звучит немного неприлично (awkward=embarrassing, suggestive)
2) I will stop joking around if it makes you feel better.
Я перестану шутить (to say strongly: валять дурака) если тебе это не нравится.

Everything except "песня" can be нелепыми.
