I need to use Russian text

    Hello

I need to put some words onto a prop for a film, I need them to be in Russian and I do not know which fonts can display the characters correctly.

The device in the film is a timer for a bomb so I suppose the words would be:

    Danger Explosive
    Armed
Receiving (a radio receiver, US usually have RX)

I hope someone can help. I have tried the translation websites but the text always appears like ??????
    Thanks, Scott

    Danger Explosive is
    Осторожно, взрывоопасно!

What is "armed"? Does it mean that the device is set already on a special time? In that case it would be

    Время установлено

    Receiving is

    Приём

    But I'm not sure.

What movie??! Is it a big production or something??! You should get us into the credits

I must disagree with Propp's translation of "Warning! Explosive!" A more proper translation would be so:
    Правит! Принц Сомали!

    Good luck

If it is a production where all Russians are dirty freaks, then proper translation should be:
    Мы американцы дебилы!

Oh Propp, would you stop trying to trick the guy to get your name into the movie somehow?

Oh, I didn't mean you, I meant all the people who make films with super evil russian characters are idiots. I don't mind your name in the movie.

As for which fonts you can use to disply what others have translated, generally any font with unicode characters will work, such as:

Arial, Times New Roman, Book Antiqua, Bookman Old Style, Franklin Gothic Medium, Impact, etc...

I use these fonts in photoshop all the time and the characters show up fine for me.
