Hyphenated nouns
What exactly does it mean when one combines two different words with a hyphen in Russian? I have seen many examples of this in songs.
Examples:
Люди-инвалиды
Время-вода
Горе-зима
Ночь-разлучница
Танец-зима
Лето-зима
Besides a direct translation “People-invalids, Time-water, Grief-winter, etc.”, what exactly do they mean, and what is the best way to translate each of them?
And also what do these sentences mean?
Как бы не так
Вот такие дела
Ты уже не придёшь
Всё так надо
I heard in a song these words…
Підманула, підвела
What do they mean?
Are they translated in Russian as «Обманула, обвела»?
Thank you so much for your help in advance.
I appreciate your help!

1. Look through §83, item 1, note 2: http://evartist.narod.ru/text1/43.htm
Also, words with evaluative meaning are connected to the main word with the hyphen.
The names of the songs are figurative, it's difficult to say what they can mean unless you know the lyrics or even the background of the lyrics.
2. Как бы не так = (appr.) It's not what you think
Вот такие дела = (appr.) Now you understand
Ты уже не придёшь = (appr.) You won't ever come
Всё как надо = (appr.) Everything is done all right.
3. Что-то типа «обманула, подвела».
