I´ll change some words according to the person I´m talking to. If I´m talking to my friend, I´ll ask 'не хотел ли бы ты...?' is it that?

Absolutely. But see above (try to avoid that "ли ли" =)) )

Sounds like a tongue twister and also too formal... A better one would be "Вы бы не хотели...?"
