Thread: How do you say 'Would you like...?'

Hi, everybody!
I´d like to know how can I say Would you like...? in Russian. I found I need to use бы, but I get confused when I try to make a question, I mean, I don´t know exactly the word order. Can someone help me?

Не хотели ли бы вы...?

I´ll change some words according to the person I´m talking to. If I´m talking to my friend, I´ll ask 'не хотел ли бы ты...?' is it that?

Sounds like a tongue twister and also too formal... A better one would be "Вы бы не хотели...?"

Absolutely. But see above (try to avoid that "ли ли" =)) )

checking search engine for "хотели ли бы вы" => About 76,100 results.

"Вы бы не хотели"... =>About 3,510,000 results.
