Okay, i'm reading Queen of Spades in russian for class this semester, and just wanted some help with a couple lines out of the first few pages, to doublecheck my translation.

Когда играю, никогда не горячусь, ничем меня с толку не собьёшь, а всё проигрываюсь!
Whenever I play, I never get excited. You can't confuse me with anything, but I lose everything!

И ты ни разу не соблазнился? Ни разу не поставил на руте. Твёрдость твоя для меня удивительна.
And you not once were tempted? Not once did I stake on the red. Your firmness for me is surprising.

Your sentences appear to be correct to me.

I think that you misspelled the name of the thread.

пиковая дама = queen of spades

Yeah, that's what I meant. I just wanted tdk2fe to notice this spelling error.

а всё проигрываюсь semms like "And all the same I lose all"

1. I certainly dont remember the context, but it seems to me that "Not once did I stake on the red" should be "Not once did you stake on the red"
2. "а всё проигрываюсь" means "а всё равно проигрываюсь" (I lose anyway). There is nothing about "losing everything" in that sentence, not necessarily that is. "I lose everything" would be "я всё проигрываю".
