Почему ты не носишь солнечные очки которые я тебе купил? Они тебе не нравятся?

I think "солнечные очки" is incorrect though definitely understandable.
Either "солнцезащитные очки" or "тёмные очки"
Please correct my mistakes if you can, especially article usage.

All the terms you guys gave for "sunglasses" seem to be kind of unwieldy. Is there a slang term, or would people actually say that in conversational speech?
Заранее благодарю всех за исправление ошибок в моём русском.

Either "солнцезащитные очки" or "тёмные очки"
This makes me wonder: is "солнечные очки" my personal slang or someone else uses it too?
Edit: 64947 instances in Rambler - not bad

At least in Moscow in the late nineties it used to be incorrect to say "солнечные очки". One would say either "солнцезащитные очки" or more casually "тёмные очки". Because of that, being in the United States around that time, I stopped by a drugstore and asked for dark glasses. Eventually the lady understood me and gave me sunglasses all right.

солнцезащитные is quite of a mouthful, солнечные is way easier to say that's why people call it that way I guess

    My variant - солочки. Я в Солотче в солочках!
Солотча is a resort place near Ryazan.

But I like the English word "shades" more.

Wow! I have not expected that someone in this forum could mention Солотча I'm from Ryazan
I would be grateful if you would correct my mistakes, since I would like my English to sound as natural as possible.
