Help me with that , guys
Hello !
I need to translate the first question and answer the second as a question
1-He rocks ( hope you have something like this in Russian but i guess it also means he is an awesome)
2-How can i make a comparison between 2 things
for example if i want to say " people are like Volcanoes can remain dormant for many years (or for centuries) but when they wake up from their sleep , no one can stay/stop eruption ( it is a comparison to explain that people can't be patient forever and they revolutionize one day ) "
it will be люди как Вулканы могут пробыть в спячке много лет (или в течение веков) , но когда они пробуждаются, никто не может остановить извержение ( это сравнение объяснить, что люди не могут быть пациентом всегда, и они в один прекрасный день революции)
or there is another way to do it because i know that i can use also " какая , какие , какой " for comparison but i dont know how and i said this sentence "люди как вулканы " right or not ?
Thanks

>>1-He rocks
if you want it to be translated as slang coz the original phrase is also slang it would be like:
Он рулит/Он жжёт/Он тащит
>>2. Люди как вулканы могут пробыть в спячке много лет (или в течение веков) , но когда они пробуждаются, никто не может остановить извержение - That's okay. Although I'd better say люди как и вулканы...
Какой is an adjective so it doesn't fit in there. Use it only like an adjective. E.G
Какой красивый вид! - What a beautiful view or just какой вид! - What a view
Это сравнение, чтобы объяснить, что люди не могут быть пациентом терпеть [s]всегда[/s] вечно, и они в один прекрасный день взорвутся и устроят революцию революции
Пациент is a patient as in a hospital, anyway it's someone who is receiving medical treatment from a doctor ;)
Patiens as an adjective stands for Russian word терпеливый, although "be patient" is usually translated as a single verb терпеть. And I think you can see that терпеть and терпеливый are the words of the same root and origin
I added взорвутся just to make the style of the phrase sound better, more expressive
