Help with handwritten letter
Dear All
I am trying to read a handwritten letter, written in latin characters!
So I was wondering if some of you could get the meaning of some sentences... for example
Eto menja sbivaet s pantaliku i usloschnijaet oschenija. Prideteja napisat' otkrovenno.
I will post some new sentences later!!
Thanks a lot!
Francesco

So, do you know the meaning of that?
Re: Help with handwritten letter
They usually don't write in translit by hand.
it says:
"he's constantly spying on me, I'm starting to worry whether he's mainac or something. He reads my mail, he pokes his nose in my SMSs, I'm scared of him."

Right. Photo/scan or we consider it being wiretapped. (and quite a mangled traslit, I must admit)

You guys are mean. Really.
My attempt:
тхат поуззлез ме анд цомплицате феелингз. И хаве 2 ригхт ит блунтлы.
Re: Help with handwritten letter
Nobody will write russian text by hand in... LATIN CHARACTERS...
Re: Help with handwritten letter
The letter was originally handwritten, and then typed on a computer using latin characters.
I am not stupid.
It is from a prisoner here in Scotland, and I am translating it for the I.A.S., on a free basis.
Thanks for (not) helping me anyway.

Why would anyone want to do that??? Especially considering that it complicates further translation. It's extremely weird.
Anyway, this person writes about his/her private life, and we do not translate private mail on this forum, unless there's a very good reason.
The rule is as follows: if you can't read it, then IT WAS NOT INTENDED FOR YOU TO READ. Sorry.
Re: Help with handwritten letter
С учетом того, как написано слово усложняет, я совсем не понимаю последнее слово в первом предложении. Это ощущения?

There is a case going on in Scotland for a prisoner and we are trying to get all papers done for the Legal (Free) Aid Board to help her.
The letter has been put into latin characters only because it has been written by Emailaprisoner.com
No probs.
Bye.

Why don't they use some standard scheme for romanization, e.g. ALA-LC or at least something consisten throughout the text?
Re: Help with handwritten letter
Because not everybody, unfortunately, is capable to use ISO21 or similar.
Re: Help with handwritten letter
Да там ничего криминального.
Никакой информации не несет ведь. :pardon:
