I'm new here tonight! I have purchased my first "real" piece of art and will meet the artist soon. How do I tell him that this is our first piece, and that I think his painting is beautiful? Also, how do I introduce myself and my husband to him? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you, in advance! :D

Here is how I would say it, which you should take with a grain of salt:

Painting:
Это наша первая картина - This is our first painting

Она очень красивая - It is really beautiful

Меня зовут "insert your name here" и моего мужа зовут "Insert husbands name here" - My name is X and my husbands name is Y
