In Russia dreams are private and shouldn't be talked about therefore this thread should be closed.

My mister Collins totally belongs to the BBC 1995' P&P. David Bamber is responsible for his charming apearance!
My neighbour looks much like an elder copy of Mr Collins from the BBC series. Besides he's incredibly self-confident (so that he even seems to be stupid) and a toady at the same time. When I watched "P&P" first it was pretty weird because of this resemblance. :)Quote:

Haven't seen the last neither. All I catched are some scenes shown in promotion and on the Oscar's ceremony, also short sound samples exhibited on Amazon. com. I am very fond of the 1995 version and more than that it's my favorite film ever - I have watched it twelve times at least. I love the music Carl Davis supposed to the action. I can't deny I liked the scenery of the new version and found the music delicious, but I am vilently dissagree with the casting of the new P&P! I can't stand the look of both Darcy and Elizabeth. I was told that K.Nightly played shortcut and dressed in wigs and the costumers had to hide her musculine arms, powered for the previous filming.
I stay conservative and fully loyal to the old film with Colin Firth and Jeniffer Ehle! Both are my dearest characters as many from Austen's books.

Have you seen "Emma"? Is it good?
( I have never seen Emma 1997/UK with Kate Beckinsale, but I love the 1996/USA movie with Gwyneth Paltrow. Her Emma is charming, the book was enacted very well, the characters are played perfectly, and the most wonderful feature is the music! I thoroughly love the music from Emma with Paltrow and am able to listen to it endless! It's a migical, kind, bright movie to the more or less expressing the author's uncomparable style. It's undisputedly a very good film! )
I tried yandex to find an internet-shop where I can buy it or an ed2k-link for it but I found nothing... :(
Well, now after everyone waits when we stop talking, I should come back to the initial theme and say (with very clever face :lol: ) that:
I am absolutelly agree with everything said above about dreams and day-dreams!
