    going up hills, elevators etc, + going down.....in russian

    how do you say these things in russian?

    He is going up the hill
    He is going down the hill
    He is going up the tower/elevator
    He is going down the stairs
    He is going up the stairs
    We are going down to the beach
    Come up the street!
    come down the street!

    The most neutral and common are "подниматься" (to go up) и "спускаться" (to go down). They are ok most of the time.

    He is going up the hill - Он поднимается на холм (or Он взбирается на холм / взбираться ~ to climb)
    He is going down the hill - Он спускается с холма.
    He is going up the tower/elevator - Он поднимается на лифте
    He is going down the stairs - Он спускается по лестнице (or Он идет вниз по лестнице)
    He is going up the stairs - Он поднимается по лестнице (or Он идет вверх по лестнице)
    We are going down to the beach - Мы спускаемся к пляжу
    Come up the street! - Идите вверх по улице
    come down the street! - Идите вниз по улице

    It's wrong. Also идти - infinitive, идите - imperative.
    Please, correct my mistakes, except for the cases I misspell something on purpose!
