The translation might sound something like this:

Я отправлял вам письмо по электронной почте несколько дней назад о том, что я хотел бы поработать в России. eta: Несколько дней назад я отправил вам по электронной почте письмо о том, что я хотел бы поработать в России. (actually, it would be easier to say "я отправил вам свое резюме :))

Nice to meet you is translated as "Приятно с Вами познакомиться" but this form is not usually used in telephone conversations. That is to say, if the person you're talking to introduces themselves, then you can say it, of course.

В данном случае можно и "отправил". :-) In this case it's just as legitimate as "отправлял" if not more so.Quote:
