Not to get to off topic here, but I would like to know this as well.
I had someone say brother,and I was like, I thought you did not have a brother, then they said, cousin. I was like, is it brother or cousin?
So Cousin/Brother/Sister mean the same thing?

I received clarification, yes they do call cousins brothers/sisters here in the ukraine anyway.
