    Don't mess with Texas!

    Как лучше перевести выражение на русском языке? Мне кажется, что не легко переводится...

    Очень нелегко. Because mess - многозначное слово (a word with multiple meanings)
    "Не связывайся с Техасом." - deonotes the obvious (do not mess with - Не связывайся), but the connotation of this slogan is "Do not litter (another meaning of "mess") and can be translated as "Не загрязняйте Техас". It is really very hard to combine both meanings and keep the pun in Russian.
