Because everybody was so helpful last time...
Hello... I have just a little question. I am sending a letter to a family in Russia that I have become acquainted with. I want to address it to the whole family (for example: "to the Karenin family") only I'm not that sure how to say that... could somebody please help? Thanks kindly for any replies! :D

Are you asking what to write on the envelope or how to start the letter? On the envelope you could simply write Карениным. With respect to starting the letter, I would probably list all the family members, something like this:
Уважаемые Ирина Павловна и Андрей Леонидович, Лена и Петя!
Решил(а) написать вам письмо про свою жизнь заграничную
