Apparent Contradictions
My understanding is that both
Мудрость это способность замечать явные противоречия.
and
Мудрость это способность разобраться в кажущихся противоречий.
can translate to:
Wisdom is the ability to make sense of apparent contradictions.
The problem as I see it has mostly to do with the translation for apparent. Since in English apparent can mean: 1) clearly visible or understood; obvious, or 2)
seeming real or true, but not necessarily so, there probably is some uncertainty as to the best word to translate apparent to in Russian.
A second problem is how to translate "make sense of". Замечать means "to notice or to observe" whereas разобраться means "to sort out or to figure out".
So how should "Wisdom is the ability to make sense of apparent contradictions." be translated into Russian assuming the second meaning for apparent?

Assuming the second meaning is used (as obviously it takes more wisdom to see the seeming contradictions than real ones),
you can say Мудрость заключается в способности видеть мнимые противоречия.
make sense of - видеть, понимать, постигать (i.e. see, understand, perceive, etc.)
-
May be, распознавать мнимые противоречия?
Though, отбрасывать seems suited better here.
