I have been listening to эхо москвы online alot recently, and although I can only understand about 30% or so, I think it really helps me on the vocabulary and pronunciations. Most of what I don't know, I can look up pretty easily in a dictionary. One thing I haven't figured out yet (and this may end up being a question that I end up feeling stupid for asking) but they keep saying what sounds like "в пол нет" or "в пал нет." Any ideas what this is? or is this a part of another word maybe?
