Hello everyone!

I'm not sure where I should have posted this because there's no forum on here that I could find for music. I would like to introduce an awesome group called Экспо (Expo). It is a Russian/American group based out of Brooklyn, NY. The group has catchy and interesting bilingual lyrics (Russian and English). Here is a link for their site : www.listen2expo.com . There you can find songs from their 1st album and videos. I highly recommend watching СТОП! (STOP!). It's about the Russian community in Brooklyn.

I happen to know one of the singers. I don't know him very well. I only met him once. He's my boyfriend's friend. When I heard about him being a Russian rapper i just laughed because it sounded so ridiculous. But I watched the video and I've been to some of the places they shot the video, plus I know what he's talking about so I thought it was really good.

She isn't THAT cute... I mean she is pretty and all, but nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to russian girls...

Well that's not really nice to say. For me, that song shows the problems that exist in the Brooklyn Russian community. NY has the largest Russian community outside of Russia. What happens there is very sad and true. Young people are killed for no reason. To say something so rude like that is just extremely thoughtless and stupid. I doubt this is true. When I was last in Ukraine they had a huge Russian community.

Of course there is.. It was part of the former USSR.
