8 out of 10
Какая разница, умереть богатым или бедным?
Какой толк от богатства если ты не счастлив.
Мой результат: 8 из 10!
Wow. I'm a native russian and I got a 7/10!

I've *always* said these things the way I answered.. I actually never even heard anyone saying them the way this site says is correct
Update: my Ukrainian wife just got a 6!
so dont feel bad. but on a personal note, i think that site is crap
По «Орфоэпическому словарю русского языка» (1987), правильно говорить нЕ дали (и допустимо не дАли), кожУх, откУпорить.

but, what i have to say is..
russia's a huge country. each area puts accents on certain letters differently.
i dont really think one is more correct than another, regardless what the dictionary said.
oh, and i (and everyone i know) always ask for 100 gramm vodki, a ne 100 grammov vodki (slovar' govorit chto 100 grammov.. )
3*10/10
The test isn't strictly defined though (hot to say this correctly?)
They suggested to choose between "бежите"-"бегите"
I got a 7/10.

Правильно говорить оптовый, а не оптовый.
Может, по словарям и так, но "не дали" очень просторечным кажется. "Заржавела" - вообще экзотика.
"Оптовый" и так, и сяк: "оптовый рынок, оптовый склад".
9/10
Failed "дождалась".
Methinks we always speak some time correctly and some time incorrectly. I can count dozens of examples in which people accentuate either this or that vowel.
«И всё, что сейчас происходит внутре — тоже является частью вселенной».
Правильно "оптОвый". И то что что многие говорят "Оптовый" ("звОнят", "жАлюзи", "квАртал" и т.д.) не значит что так тоже правильно.Originally Posted by FL

IMHO this test will tell you nothing about your _real_ knowledge. A year ago I passed the enrance examination to Bauman University. So in examination of Russian Language there was a question just like in this test - to put the stress on given words. Sometimes there were really curious examples: not маркЕтинг but мАркетинг, not оксюморОн, but оксЮморон, not каталОг but катАлог... This was quite hard for us, becaus it appeared that in usual speech we put the stress WRONGY and it's easy to hear this mistakes even on TV (mostly in ads ). By the way I can't see use of this knowledge in technical institute.

Me, just as Socrates, know a few things. And one of them: каталОг, а не катАлог, бытиЕ, а не бытиЁ. Here are my two college degrees.

7 из 10! Ура!!
"...но, все будет хорошо..."
If I remember (maybe I'm wrong and right is каталОг. If so, excuse me.) it was the word that confused me the most. КатАлог is half-slang pronunciation that had been used among computer specialists as an equivalent to english "directory", instead of директория (there were no "folders" at that time ). And all that time I thought that it is wrong but our tutor on starting-up course told us that recently it became right.Originally Posted by Gerty
