Thread: Question/ Keyboard

I know this question is kind of weird but my laptop is typing numbers instead of letters. For example I, O, P would give me 5,6,7 or something like that. Those numbers are written on the keyboard but I don't know how to make it type the letters instead. Has anyone ever encountered that and how do you fix it.

Perhaps your laptop has a "Num Lock" key that's triggered with the "Fn" or "Function" key?

You have the Num Lock on.

I have a FN key but it only allows me to type letter while holding down key kind of like Shift.

I know it's hardly russian but I am learning russian... couldn't think of anywhere else to ask. Thank you very much

Look up near the top. It should have in secondary colors the words "Num Lock".

I expect you have to hold down Fn then Num Lk.
