Да, так было можно, т.к. Саудовская Аравия - оплот демократии и стабильности на Ближнем Востоке. Кроме того, Саудовская Аравия последовательно защищает права человека. Кроме того, в Саудовской Аравии процветают свобода слова, политическая оппозиция не преследуется, а главное - официально регестрируются однополые браки. It's not about whether people are "normal" or not - the answer is always YES, it's about whether those in control over people are normal or not - and here, unfortunately, we have a wide range of options with some really nasty ones. The current Iranian authorities are definitely way more intrusive than what they'd had before 1979, and what they've been doing for over 35 years is certainly not right. Russians are famous for their disrespect of the law, while the people at Saudi Arabia have made their free democratic choice to abide by the laws. The law you refer to clearly highlights that drastic difference as the free and law-abiding men in Saudi Arabia would not lawfully consume their wives when they starve unless the law permits, whilst the barbaric and lawless Russians would eat just about anything that moves without the permission anyways, so no such law would ever make its way to the State Duma even though the need for that kind of regulation has clearly been awaited for long by the nation..But what about the ordinance below officially sanctioning gobbling up wives when husband is famished? Для меня это шутки, а вот вчера я выслушал всё это от уважаемого мной взрослого образованного человека, который всё это говорил на полном серьёзе. Что почтение к власти у россиян в крови и именно этим они отличаются от всех европейцев, ну и т.д.
