А можно сделать так, чтобы с каждым новым посещением просмотренные темы (с новыми сообщениями в предыдущий раз) не горели красным?

Есть такая ссылочка, я её и пробовал - несколько раз. Ничего не поменялось. Вылечилось при помощи Delete all board cookies.

The light-blue style didn't work for me for some reason. I really enjoy the Ubuntu style which you can set in the Global Settings. Overall, I like the upgrade. Hopefully, some of the older posts would also get migrated to the new database..

Медленньненькое, если не менялся хостинг - это значит движок больше нагрузку на сервер даёт.
Лечится плохо, если вообще лечится. Всё-таки, третья версия понавороченнее.

What exactly is horrible? If the looks, then you can change the layout in the Control Panel. It the number of posts, they were converted from the old forum and available in the new one. We are working on the speed of the forum, should be solved very soon. What else is horrible?
