I'm totally Austrian: born and raised in Austria by Austrian parents, speaking Austrian German, living in Austria (Innsbruck). Quite boring, isn't it?!

    at Prince of Persia:

just a little and totally off-topic question:

is abbas kiarostami very famous in your country (it happens that some directors are more famous in western countries than in their own country, pavel lungin is a fine example of that) and what do you think of him?

the taste of cherry was absolutely fantastic!!!

Mein Bruder ist zur zeit in Iraq. Er kann auch nichts dagegen tun.

Not that that has anything to do with Iran or anything else.

    Hi

Yes , Abbas Kiarostami is very famous in Iran too , we like him and we are proud of him , I’m so glad that you’re fan of him .
Unfortunately I haven’t seen the taste of Cherry yet . We have some other good directors too , for example Makhmalbaf , Hatami , Hatamikia , Majid Majidi and … most of them have won several film festivals too . In last 26 years Iranian cinema has improved very quickly.
1000 International film awards = Iranian cinema

some western people can't distinguish Iran and Iraq , and they think these two countries are the same . But our race , our culture , our language and our history are different . They are Arabs , we are Aryans , They speak Arabic , we speak Persian(Farsi) .
The real name of Iraq is not Iraq , it's Aragh ( A like (a) in apple and the pronunciation of (gh) is like the pronunciation of (r) in French or German, for example r in Paris(French) or r in recht(German)) .
I think because in English Aragh be called Iraq , some people think Iraq and Iran are the same.

That is true but they are the stupid ones. I think the people on this board are smarter than that.

Yes, let's lose all those made up things such as borders and race!
    Human's are one race.
