WEll I voted for 'Middle East' because I live in the middle eastern part of Tennessee in the United States, and I read somewhere that Americans are so myopic that they cannot understand geography.
Sounds good to me, so I'm running with it.
Anyway, I live in Tennessee, and am orginally from Springfield, Missouri, also in the U.S.A
How do you say, in russian "damn, I didn't ask for your whole life story?"
I don't know why but I love learning the phrases....well I know why, if you learn sentence by sentence then you don't have to bother learning grammar rules....guess I'm a lazy sod too.
Well, I kind of feel great that I found this forum today...maybe with some support my Russian will improve rapidly!

Most students in Russsia are a bit astonished when they are told to pronounce Chicago as "Shikago" LOL
How do they pronounce it? Chikago?
in russian we pronounce it like chikago (first ch is like in word chess)
and the A is stressed, so it's like chikaga. (learned this one from брат 2)
LOL YES chicago WITHOUT SHQuote:
