i've been looking arounf for different websites for russian learners

these ones i've found so far and i like them

can you recommend other good sites?

I 'd have to say, for intermediate Russian speakers and above, that tasteofrussian.com (which you mentioned) has the best podcasts for download that I have seen. I highly recommend them! They are well put together and Russian words are explained in Russian so that no transfer into English thought is needed. Plus the PDF files of all dialog are downloadable too!

She's a Swedish doctoral student at a university in Yekaterinburg in Russia.

She blogs about her life in Russia and teaches random words and Russian grammar through anectodes.

Thanks for pointing this out. I think I had confused it in my mind with the Spoonful of Russian blog which was just geared towards learning the alphabet.

How often do you all speak about пища?

Tatiana Lyon makes some great podcasts in easy, slow Russian.
I REALLY like her podcasts and she is doing a great service to Russian-learners.

She interviews friends and family and makes podcasts about practical matters, like going to the pharmacy.

A site with news stories about Russia in English, by a Russian woman from Moscow. The stories tend to be quite positive; basically I think she wants to counterweight the often negative reporting about Russia in English speaking press. She's very organised and publishes several new stories every week.
