If you follow this course, as I do, perhaps will be interesting for us to contact: No doubt I can solve some of your difficulties, and you will do the same with mine. However I follow as a basis other grammars, I follow Golosa for its high quality in audio-video exercises.

The Golosa book series is worthless to anyone who wants to self-study because it gives no answers to the exercises. It is poorly organised and layed out complete with stupid drawings and useless exercises that can only be performed in a classroom setting. That is, if one can understand the poorly worded questions presented. And for $170 flamin' bucks for the two books I'd say that it is a complete rip-off especially when students are the least likely to be able to afford to throw their money away on this type of scholastic inflation. Their web-site is helpful however.

    Abt Golosa

It seems like if we were talking of two different things. I just use the web-site. There is for every unit: audio exercises, very wide; grammar exercises, with solutions; and video exercises, also very wide, with questions that prove if you have understood it all or not. Furthermore there is help in every unit to enlarge what you have learned. Sincerely I have not found a better help for "Fonetics and Intonation". That is my target with Golosa, no more, and it accomplishes it. I use grammars apart where the rules are better structurated. I have seen in the web the course of Princeton, with more ambition as for grammar (in any case it is not my way of learning grammar) and much less quality in Fonetics. My opinion abt www.gwu.edu/golosa/... is most favorable. I have no opinion abt the book, that I don't know, and accept, of course, yours. In any case "На вкус и цвет... "

+1. And they teach you declensions in a really stupid way.
