I'm looking for a site where I can download all russian words in a txt or html file. Thx!

I had found one, but forgot to put it in my favs and now I can't find it anymore

I found something...where did I put that thing...be back in a bit with it...

I think I followed a link from here or a reccomendation from here. In any case I hope this is not viewed as advertisment. It appears to be (because I downloaded it and never spent any time with it yet) a dictionary in electronic format that gives english words followed by russian equivalents. I hope that is what you meant. But Mordan...I thought you were fluent?

well you have like what? The compendious Oxford English Dictionary lists about 500,000 words so in Russian you have at most 500 000 dictionnary word, don't tell me you have more words than in English.

500 000 * 10(average # of letters) * 8 (bits per letter) = 40 500 000 bits

That's a ~5Mb .txt file

thx. I will take a look at that later, but I don't think it is going to resolve my need.

Why would it be considered as an Ad? And anyway Why are you feeling insecure? You got some stock options in this uber big verbioso company?

I wanted to say that all words are never stored in one dictionary. I understand according to your post that you wanted something closer to utopia.

Can only offer 128 900 word list. It's created from aspell Russian dictionary.
