For those not familiar, this is чебурашка: чебурашка.jpg
and this is Monchihi: monchichi.jpg

чебурашка is from 1969, and monchihi is from 1980...just saying
thoughts/opinions?

I think your Monchihi lacks a pair of huge ears

Cheburashka is from the 1960s and Monchichis are from the 80s.
Cheburashka is an individual and Monchichis are a whole family of different monkeys.
Monchichi dolls have lots of plastic on them - Cheburashka is only furry.
Cheburshka is for toddlers while Monchichi are for slightly older children.
