    keyboard question for beginner

    i've quickly searched the website but couldn't find exactly what i was looking for. when i took my only semester of russian in college, the lab had an on-screen keyboard for help. does anyone know if there is one that can be downloaded for free out there? i can pay for one but i though i'd check for the lesser expensive option first. thanks-b.

    Thw Windows XP has it's own on-screen keyboard. Just choose:

    Start -> Programs -> Accessoires -> Accessibility -> On-Screen Keyboard

    But to use the russian keyboard layout, you have to activate it at first.
    Could you please occasionally correct my stupid errors!

    how do you activate it for russian?
    Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages (tab) -> Details (button) -> Settings (tab) -> Add (button) -> choose Russian in both fields

    P.S. You don't need to do that, if you already have the russian keyboard layout installed.
