Russian Television Stations
OK, there's a new report out analyzing the content of Russian TV channels, which leads me to my question. What are the significant Russian TV networks today -- not really so much cable/satellite (does that exist, really?), but the networks that just broadcast an open-air signal so that anybody with a TV can pick them up. Here's what I know:
-ORT (AKA Channel 1, right?)
-RTV
-NTV
-REN
These are all basically the equivalent of, say, Fox, CBS,ABC, NBC, right (assuming you are familiar with American TV ;) )?
Where do TNT and STS come in? Are there other networks that I'm missing?
This isn't really a well-formulated question, but I'm just curious in general. Any information is appreciated!
