Thread: Russian Language in Toronto Canada

I was wondering if anyone on this forum is from Toronto, Ontario Canada, and if so, have you taken any Russian courses in the city?

Furthermore, are you involved with any Russian language groups? If not, would you be interested in joining one?

Hey V, great question... but no answers in a couple months so I assume no?

I'm in the Bloor and Ronce area. I'm taking lessons, but am very beginner. So I don't know if I'd be much of a conversationalist at this stage, but I'd love to know if you've found any local groups. Other than my instructor, I don't know anyone else interested in the language...

I live in the Greater Toronto Area, but I haven't gotten involved in anything like that. I don't really have the money, connections, or free time (self-learning takes up enough time as it is).

Yeah, I live in Toronto! I took Russian for 2 years in university but am not enrolled anymore as I reached the highest level offered in my school. Would love to join a Russian group though.
