Russian Cursive Font
Greetings
After searching the forum and google, I have come to the conclusion that russian cursive fonts are very hard to find. Does anyone know of any fonts that are connected like in cursive russian? Thanks
EDIT: In my process of learning cursive russian, I really cannot find a difference between the К and Н... Could someone point out the primary difference between these? Thanks.
EDIT2: I just looked at another resource and it showed a bigger difference in the two letters. I think i get it now.

I was looking for a Russian cursive font recently to show in some thread how cursive looks like and I realized that a perfect cursive font can't exist because of letter connections. Different letter combinations should have different conections.
Here is an example of the best font I found:

I can't remember where I got it but if you're interested I can mail it to you.

There are several (patented) ways to make perfect cursive fonts. One of the commercial companies that produces your own cursive can be found at www.vletter.com but they are expensive. I think there are pretty much the biggest ones.
About the difference between K and H. It's often indistinguishable in fast and careless writing. The best way to find it out is to compare two of them for each individual person and you'll soon be able to tell one from the other--for that particular person. Or you could guess the letter by the word itself and sample it for the future occurences in the script.

Darobat, there is another thread on this site about cursive. I posted a url to a site where you can d/l free ones. There was one, called Didaktika, that was the font they teach you in school. It has all kinds of alternative letters so that the connections will work out ( notice the final б in your example is the wrong form because it has a connecting stroke). The problem is that you have to pick the appropriate letterforms, until someone comes up with a VBS script or smth like that to assemble normal text using the proper letterforms.

I found that thread and downloaded didactica, and it didn't work to well. All the font was was random lines and wasn't a font at all.
