    It's usual situation for cats.

a year ago in Poland this married couple was drinking heavily and they decided to throw their dog, St. Bernard (sic!), of (or is it off?) the balcony from 2nd floor. He actually fell on a passer-by.
Perhaps the 2nd floor is not as spectacular, but still. They both lived - the dog, and the man!

I hope the married couple had been executed succesfully!

I doubt that the man could be live if that dog was been "bulldog"

he did though I would show you the news, but it's in Polish, hence you probably wouldnt make out much of it :P
I don't know exactly how did the dog hit the man, knowing the press he might've as well barely touched him, but the way they put it, it was that the dog fell down on him.

Leof, I wouldn't know about the result of their trial, but they were arrested, and the dog was, obviously, taken away from them

Hold on a sec, I think I'm channeling tomorrow's Washington Post...

A CROCODILE survived a fall from the 12th floor of a block of flats in Russia under suspicious circumstances.

The crocodile, a fierce critic of Vladimir Putin, has links to exiled dissident Boris Berezovsky. Contacted this morning for an opinion, Mr Berezovsky claimed that it was obviously a bungled attempted murder, carried out by the FSB, the successor to the much feared KGB, in order to silence him after he made some sarcastic remarks about the President to a passing polar bear.

Another contact, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of being targeted himself, added "the only other explanation is that it was a suicide attempt, brought on by the depression caused by living in a country that is backsliding on democracy."

The President's office has refused to comment on the case, claiming that they do not wish to interfere in an ongoing criminal investigation. Critics argue, however, that the investigation is a sham and is being manipulated by the Kremlin.

I've had several cats at home, most of which were unlucky to fall down from the 6th floor. But they were alive! However, badly injured.

That is a great blog, or whatever. Scotcher's quote was funny, too.

I personally think the poor crocodile was remembering his/her prior life as a dragon!

Well, I don't know what to say. I want to say thanks to the Academy, to Mama, to Papa and to my dog. I love you all.

The same. A cat of my roommate fell from the 8th floor. It broke one leg, but otherwise was fine.

A dog trainer once told me, "it's not the breed it's the owner that determines a dog's character." I know someone with two bulldogs and they are the sweetest things.
