I dare to give one advice... If somebody really wants to see this movie - one of the most impressive movies (if not the most impressive one) of Soviet era, it is better to take the DVD from Netflix or to get it on Amazon... Please do not spoil your impression watching it squeezed into youtube screen!
Recently, I have got the new re-make of it (made by Chinese directors), and I was not impressed at all... Why on Earth they stretched that dynamic plot into 12 parts, transforming it into a kind of a soap opera?! The only thing that I like in the new version is Maria Gaponenko's song ("Мы вернёмся назад - по-другому не может быть, слышишь, родная?" - by the way, this wonderful lady selebrated her 85 years jubilee at the end of August!)
So, after that Chinese re-make I took the old classic version of 1972 from Netflix and watched it again - and I tell you that even after 35 years it remains shocking impressive!
